Spiritual life coaching is an action oriented process that will help you implement improvements in your life while deepening your spiritual growth. Your coach will help you identify distractions to spiritual growth, refocus your goals and live a life that is increasingly more spiritually authentic. Personal growth techniques are incorporated into the process to ensure optimal results.

Learning how to grow spiritually is a skill that must be developed through continual practice and learning. As you mature spiritually, your relationship with God will deepen. Spiritual life coaching is about guiding you through that maturation process. Regardless of your religious affiliation or spiritual beliefs, there are common areas that can be improved with spiritual life coaching.

First, you must get control over your current obligations so that you have the necessary time, focus and energy needed for spiritual growth.

Second, you need to need improve how you choose and complete your daily activities to further increase your ability for spiritual growth.

Third, you need to focus on “why” you perform certain activities to determine what need is being met by that activity. Optimize your improvements by focusing on the desired internal state instead of obtaining external items.

Fourth, frame all of your activities within a spiritual context. Examine each activity to determine if it will deepen or weaken your relationship with God.

Spiritual life coaching is similar to life coaching in terms of structure and methodology. As in life coaching, your coach will not tell you what to do but instead will facilitate your ability to discover and make decisions for yourself, while occasionally making suggestions or asking questions. You determine the requirements of your spirituality and the activities needed to satisfy those requirements.
